Through creativity, humour, glitter and glam, Art Simone has claimed her position at the forefront of the Aussie entertainment industry. Slaying stereotypes, celebrating differences and tirelessly promoting social inclusion, Art has helped move drag from margin to mainstream and she's just getting started!

An in-demand live performer from the very beginning, Art's quintessential style and humour has delivered an incredible fanbase. Performing professionally for over a decade, Art is not only a dynamic live performer but an in demand media personality and social media powerhouse. As the 2024 “Melbourne’s Favourite Drag Queen” - She’s won titles, worked with some of the world's biggest brands, has been globally celebrated for her incredible make-up looks, and launched WOWPresents Plus series ‘Highway To Heel! This was all before RuPaul’s Drag Race came knocking.

Starring in the inaugural season of Stan’s ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under’, Art’s talent was shared with a whole new audience and she immediately became a fan favourite. Bringing unique looks, showcasing her incredible talent and delivering the ultimate one-liners. As the series’ runner-up, she’s since welcomed her new fans, jumped into major Australian and international touring, guested on ‘Have You Been Paying Attention’, ‘Would I Lie To You’, ‘The Cook Up with Adam Liaw’, ‘Spicks and Specks’ and even featured in the 7/Netflix reboot of 'Kath & Kim'!

Embracing creativity in all its forms Art launched podcast 'Concealed with Art Simone' with iHeart. The show is now enjoying its fourth season along with three ACRA and three Australian Podcast Awards nominations. Art also made her tv series acting debut as Patty in Logie and AACTA nominated series 'In Our Blood' (ABC) for which she received rave reviews. If that wasn't enough, you can hear her on the KIIS radio network nationally, see her in campaigns for Google, AAMI, BWS and UberEats plus catch episodes of her show 'Kick Ons' through YouTube and Patreon - phew!

Aside from her personal accolades, Art is always focused on ensuring that drag reaches regional Australia. She's been celebrated for creating safe-spaces for the queer community and ensuring that pride is shared and celebrated where it’s needed most. From events in the outback to panels on diversity and inclusion she's pushing the envelope as "One of Australia's most prominent LGBTQ+ game changers'' (The Australian) and will always push people to thrive in full drag.

There's no doubt we'll be seeing so much more from Art Simone in 2025 including television, touring live shows and highlighting her two books “Life is Art” and “Drag Queens Down Under” which all further Art’s mission to champion Aussie drag.
